The workshop provides a theoretical justification as well as a number of teaching examples and sequences for the use of a wide range of advertisement media (TV, posters, magazines, …) in the German classroom. Be it vocabulary, grammar, listening and speaking skills, or a deeper understanding for German attitudes and culture, advertisement is a versatile and fun tool for teaching for all levels. In a second part, the workshop enables participants to find the necessary resources and to design their own lesson plans with advertisement materials.
